Our organisation has been running an old age home & day care centre for olderly women at Sirui Junction, Ukhrul District which is managed from the own fund of the organization and donations from local youth clubs, well wishers . Read more
The organization has been running a Children Home and Temporary shelter home for a capacity of 50 children home at Salemthar , chandel District, Manipur since the year 2005. During the reporting year i.e 2022-23, the home enrolled 50 children providing day care educational services. They are provided free food, clothing, education, counselling and other life skill education. . Read more
The organization has been running vocational Training Centre (VTC) for disabled persons since 2014 from the own fund of the organization. Read more
The Swadhar Greh ( now, called as Shakti Sadan) has been running since 1st April, 2011 at Moreh Bazar, Near Moreh Hospital under the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Govt. of India, New Delhi. During the reporting year, the centre has 30 inmates along with 9 (nine) dependent children from the communities namely Meitei, Kuki, Muslim, Tamil and Nepali. Read more
The organization has been running a half way and short stay home for disables at Pallel Bazar, chandel District since the year 2013. The organization provided welfare service to 23 disabled persons by providing day care services and imparted VTC in Handicraft, preservation of dry fruits and vegetables. Read more
The organisation has completed the construction work of SC Girls Hostel for 50 inmate capacity under the scheme of Babu Jagjivan Ram Chhtrawas Yojana, Ministry of Social Justice and empowerment, Govt. of India, New Delhi. Since the construction work has been completed, the admissions for stay have been started for the SC Girls studying in various schools and colleges in and around More, Tengnoupal District, Manipur. During the reporting year, the organisation conducted vocational training courses for SHG members and rural women along with free adult education to 42 women at Wangjing S.K Leikai, PO- Wangjing, Thoubal, Manipur. The VTC programmes include fruit & vegetable preservation, handloom and handicrafts, mushroom farming, candle making, agarbati making etc. Read more
Our organization conducted an awareness programme on Wome & Child Trafficking at Salemthar, Chandel District from 14th to 16th Oct. 2022. The Programme was attended by Prominient persons like Chairperson, Manipur Chandel, officials of District Child Protection office, Chandel, Additional Superintendant of Police, Chandel. Altogether, 71 Women and 57 school girl students attended the programme. Read more
